Thoughtfully designed around the American Early Childhood
Education Standard, our curriculum nurtures every child’s growth academically, socially, and emotionally.
At Bear Hugs, we follow an American-based preschool curriculum approved by the Saudi Ministry of Education, thoughtfully designed to support how young children naturally learn: Through hands-on experiences, purposeful play, and guided exploration. Each stage of the program is developmentally appropriate and tailored to match children’s needs, helping them build skills at the right pace and in the right way.
Our approach nurtures academic growth in literacy, math, and science, while also fostering emotional resilience, social confidence, and a lifelong love of learning. Alongside English, children are introduced to Arabic and basic Quran, helping them grow in both knowledge and cultural identity. By supporting the whole child — mind, heart, and body — we lay the foundation for lifelong success.
Early literacy at Bear Hugs begins with joyful discovery. Children develop foundational reading skills through phonics, storytelling, and group reading sessions that spark imagination and comprehension. Writing is gently introduced with an emphasis on letter formation, sentence building, and creative expression, helping children find their voice, one word at a time.
Our science curriculum invites children to
become little explorers. Through observation,
experiments, and discovery-based learning,
they investigate the world around them, from
plants and animals to weather, the five
senses, and basic physical science. Each topic
encourages curiosity, wonder, and a deeper
connection to the natural world and the environment.
