Early language nd literacy at Bear Hugs begins with joyful discovery. Children develop foundational reading skills through role play, discussions, phonics, storytelling, and group reading sessions skills that spark imagination and comprehension. Pre-writing skills are introduced through letter modeling, drawing, sketching and other. Writing is gently introduced with an emphasis on letter formation, sentence building, and creative expression, helping children find their voice, one word at a time.
Math becomes meaningful when it is hands-on and connects to real life experiences. Through games, puzzles, and playful activities, children explore number sense, counting, patterns, basic operations, measurement, data handling, and problem-solving. Our approach builds both confidence and curiosity, laying the groundwork for a lifelong love of numbers and logical thinking.
Our curriculum invites children to become little explorers. Through observation, experiments, and discovery-based learning, they investigate the world around them, from plants and animals to weather, the five senses, and basic physical science.
