Located within the Ministry of Commerce in Riyadh, Bear Hugs Nursery offers a calm, nurturing environment where infants and young children settle in comfortably and feel secure from the very start. Our caregivers take a gentle, attentive approach, combining loving care with age-appropriate early learning experiences that support each child’s development, curiosity, and sense of belonging.

Working hours (7:30am– 3:30 pm), each day is thoughtfully planned to provide a balance of play, rest, and guided activities, ensuring children feel happy, safe, and engaged throughout their time with us.


With over two decades of experience since 2003, our focus extends beyond early learning. We place strong emphasis on emotional well-being, fostering kindness, trust, and social connection. Through sensory play, interactive activities, and warm caregiver-child relationships, children build confidence, develop early communication skills, and grow in a supportive and caring environment.

OUR PROGRAMS

At Bear Hugs Nursery, every activity is thoughtfully designed to support your child’s early development. We focus on nurturing essential skills through play-based experiences, while building strong foundations in confidence, social interaction, and emotional well-being—helping each child grow in a balanced, gentle, and meaningful way.

BEES
3 months – 1 year

A warm and nurturing environment where babies are gently cared for in a safe and loving setting. Through soft interaction, sensory experiences, and consistent routines, we support their comfort, emotional security, and early development.

UNDER THE SEA
1 – 2 years

A gentle introduction to a nurturing group environment, where children are supported through consistent routines, music, and sensory play inspired by an undersea theme. The focus is on helping each child feel safe, build trust, and develop a sense of comfort and belonging.

Through warm interactions and guided play, children begin to develop early social skills, emotional awareness, and confidence at their own pace.

GARDEN
2 - 3 years

A warm and stimulating environment where children’s natural curiosity is encouraged and early friendships begin to grow through play-based experiences. Through music, movement, and hands-on activities, children develop communication skills, build confidence, and express themselves creatively in a supportive and engaging setting.

SPACE
3 - 4 years

A balanced blend of playful exploration and early learning experiences designed to build confidence and spark curiosity. Early literacy and numeracy are introduced through engaging, hands-on activities that make learning natural, meaningful, and enjoyable. Children are encouraged to explore, question, and discover in a supportive environment that nurtures their growing independence.

JUNGLE
4 - 5 years

A thoughtful balance of structure and creativity that supports growing independence, strengthens core skills, and encourages problem-solving. Children are guided to explore ideas, ask questions, and make meaningful connections with increasing confidence, preparing them for the next stage of their learning journey.

EXTENDED CARE

A safe and supportive environment offered before and after the regular nursery day, where children are cared for in a calm and engaging setting. Through creative activities and structured play, children remain active, happy, and meaningfully engaged under close supervision, with care available until 5:00pm.

At Bear Hugs Nursery, our approach focuses on key areas of early childhood development, combining gentle guidance with play-based experiences that suit young children’s needs.

EARLY LANGUAGE & COMMUNICATION

At Bear Hugs, early language development begins through interaction, play, and exploration. Children are encouraged to listen, respond, and express themselves through songs, stories, and everyday conversations. Through shared reading, sensory activities, and guided play, children naturally build their vocabulary and understanding of language.


Rather than formal writing, we focus on developing the foundational skills needed for communication—such as fine motor development, early mark-making, and self-expression—helping each child grow in confidence as they begin to communicate in their own way.

LITERACY

EARLY NUMERACY

At Bear Hugs Nursery, early math skills are introduced through play and everyday experiences. Children explore basic concepts such as counting, sorting, matching, and recognizing simple patterns through games, songs, and hands-on activities.


Through guided play and exploration, children begin to understand ideas like size, quantity, and shapes in a natural and enjoyable way. These early experiences help build confidence, curiosity, and a positive connection with numbers and problem-solving from a young age.

MATHEMATICS

DISCOVERY & EXPLORATION

At Bear Hugs Nursery, children are encouraged to explore the world around them through their senses and natural curiosity. Through hands-on activities, sensory play, and guided discovery, they begin to notice and understand simple concepts such as nature, animals, weather, and their own surroundings.


Every experience is designed to spark wonder, encourage exploration, and build confidence, helping children develop an early connection to the world in a gentle and engaging way.

SCIENCE

DISCOVERY CORNERS

Each month, children are introduced to a simple, engaging theme that flows through play, stories, sensory activities, and creative experiences. This approach keeps learning meaningful and enjoyable, helping children make connections with the world around them in a natural way.


Through these shared experiences, children develop early social and emotional skills, build confidence, and explore new ideas at their own pace in a warm and supportive environment.
