Located in the heart of Al-Hamra’a, Jeddah, Bear Hugs offers a warm, welcoming space where children feel safe, supported, and eager to grow. Our dedicated teachers blend gentle care with purposeful learning, nurturing confidence, creativity, and connection. From Nursery (7:45am–12:30pm) to KG1–KG3 (7:45am–1:30pm), each day is thoughtfully designed to spark joy and build lifelong skills.

Since 2003, we have been committed to laying strong academic foundations while nurturing kindness, good manners, and emotional well-being. Through hands-on learning, meaningful relationships, and daily encouragement, we guide children to develop both confidence and compassion.

OUR PROGRAMS

At Bear Hugs, every activity is guided by purposeful goals that shape your child’s growth. We focus on both essential skills and character development, nurturing the whole child academically, socially, and emotionally.

PRE-NURSERY
1.5 – 2.3 years

A gentle introduction to group care with music, sensory play, and nurturing routines that build trust and security. We focus on emotional comfort and early social skills.

NURSERY
2.4 – 2.11 years

A warm, engaging space where curiosity and early friendships grow through play-based learning. Children explore music, movement, and hands-on activities that spark communication and creativity.

KG1 | 3 – 3.11 years

Playful learning meets early academics, sparking curiosity and confidence in every child. We introduce literacy and numeracy through engaging, hands-on activities.

KG2 | 4 – 4.11 years

A balance of structure and creativity that strengthens skills, independence, and problem-solving. Children explore, question, and connect ideas with growing confidence.

KG3 | 5 – 5.11 years

Advanced learning with a focus on leadership, responsibility, and readiness for primary school. Our program empowers children to take pride in their achievements and abilities.

EXTENDED CARE

A safe, happy space before and after school where children activities are designed to keep little ones active, creative, and cared for until pickup up to 5pm. 

WHAT WE TEACH AND HOW WE TEACH IT

Our curriculum is built on key areas of early childhood development, combining structured learning with purposeful play.

LITERACY

Early literacy at Bear Hugs begins with joyful discovery. Children develop foundational reading skills through phonics, storytelling, and group reading sessions that spark imagination and comprehension. Writing is gently introduced with an emphasis on letter formation, sentence building, and creative
expression, helping children find their voice, one word at a time.

Math becomes meaningful when it’s hands-on. Through games, puzzles, and playful activities, children explore number sense, counting, patterns, basic operations, measurement, and problem- solving. Our approach builds both confidence and curiosity, laying the groundwork for a lifelong love of numbers and logical thinking.

SCIENCE

Our science curriculum invites children to become little explorers. Through observation, experiments, and discovery-based learning, they investigate the world around them, from plants and animals to weather, the five senses, and basic physical science. Each topic encourages curiosity, wonder, and a deeper connection to the natural world.

Every month brings a fresh theme that weaves through activities, stories, crafts, and exploration. These themes make learning fun and meaningful, helping children make real-world connections while developing social, emotional, and academic skills across all areas of development.
