OUR EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAMS

At Bear Hugs, we offer age-appropriate programs designed to nurture your child’s development step by step — emotionally, socially, and academically.

Our curriculum is hands-on, engaging, and evolves with each stage of early childhood to ensure your little one is always learning at just the right pace.

WHAT WE TEACH AND HOW WE TEACH IT

Our curriculum is built on key areas of early childhood development, combining structured learning with purposeful play.

PRE-NURSERY | 1.5 – 2.3 YEARS

This is a gentle introduction to structured care and group learning. Our youngest hildren are supported with warm routines that promote bonding, safety, and trust. Each day is filled with music, movement, and sensory play that encourage early ommunication and emotional development.

Activities include: Songs and rhymes, circle time, life skills, play-based learning, and creative expression.

PRE-NURSERY | 1.5 – 2.3 YEARS

NURSERY | 2.4 – 2.11 YEARS

At this stage, children are more confident on their feet and ready to engage with the world around them. We introduce more structure through themes and guided activities that help develop motor skills, language, and independence. Teachers support children in making choices, expressing themselves, and developing friendships.

Activities include: Circle time, theme-based activities, interactive playtime, fun worksheets, and hands-on skill-building experiences.

NURSERY | 2.4 – 2.11 YEARS

KG1 | 3.0 – 3.11 YEARS

In KG1, children begin exploring foundational academic concepts in a playful and supportive setting. We introduce early reading and math skills while continuing to build their creativity, communication, and self-expression. Each lesson is designed to inspire curiosity and a love of learning.

Curriculum includes: Pre-K Basic Skills Book, art themes and creative activities, early literacy and number concepts, sensory development, and Arabic language.

KG1 | 3.0 – 3.11 YEARS

KG2 | 4.0 – 4.11 YEARS

This stage focuses on deepening understanding and building independence. Children apply what they’ve learned through structure dactivities that challenge their thinking while encouraging creativity and problem-solving. Emotional and social development continue to be a strong focus as children prepare for KG3.

Curriculum includes: Level K Basic Skills Book, language and numeracy development, art projects, sensory learning, and continued Arabic language instruction.

KG2 | 4.0 – 4.11 YEARS

KG3 | 5.0 – 5.11 YEARS

Our KG3 program prepares children for a smooth transition into primary chool. We guide children through more advanced language, math, and science concepts, while supporting their confidence, focus, and leadership. They take big steps forward in independence, responsibility, and self-belief.

Curriculum includes: Grade 1 Basic Skills Book, Spectrum Book Series, Fun with Phonics, foundational math & science, and enriched Arabic language learning.
